Redmi Pad 2 Set to Launch Soon with Massive 9,000mAh Battery

The Chinese smartphone company Redmi revealed on Tuesday via its social media accounts that it will launch the Redmi Pad 2 later this week. The Xiaomi sub-brand has released official photos of the new Android tablet’s specifications and appearance. At least two color options and a 4G connection are confirmed for the Redmi Pad 2. It is rumored to feature an 11-inch, 2.5K-resolution screen and a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra CPU. The Redmi Pad 2 is expected to launch as the direct successor to the Redmi Pad in 2022.

Release Date and Details of the Redmi Pad 2

Shopee will be the place to buy the Redmi Pad 2 4G when it launches in the Philippines on June 5. The new tablet’s characteristics and design are alluded to in the teaser photos. It features a single rear camera unit and is available in two color options.

It has been revealed that the Redmi Pad 2 will soon be available in India. Amazon, Flipkart, and the official Mi India website are hinting at the tablet’s release. A precise debut date is currently uncertain, though.

The MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra SoC is hinted to power the Redmi Pad 2. It will feature an 11-inch display with a 2.5K resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, along with Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface. It will feature a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support and a 9,000mAh battery.

According to reports, the Redmi Pad 2’s 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs EUR 229, or about Rs. 22,000 in Indian rupees. The top-end model, which has 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, is expected to cost EUR 279, or about Rs. 26,000.

Arriving in 2022, the Redmi Pad 2 will be the official replacement for the Redmi Pad. It is said to have an 8-megapixel AI-enabled rear camera and support 18W wired fast charging. There may be a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the tablet.
