According to the company, the OnePlus Nord 5 series is set to debut in India in July. Additionally, the OnePlus Buds 4 headphones will be included. There will be a vanilla Nord 5 and a Nord CE 5 in the Nord 5 series. According to OnePlus, the devices will consist of Snapdragon 8 series chipsets. The next generation of Buds 4 TWS earphones will support LHDC 5.0 and have twin DAC drivers. Additionally, information on the phones’ and audio wearables’ availability has been released.
Launch of the OnePlus Nord 5 Series and OnePlus Buds 4 in India
According to a press statement from the company, OnePlus will introduce the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 phones in India on July 8 at 2:00 PM IST in addition to the OnePlus Buds 4. They will be sold nationwide on Amazon and the official e-commerce site.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC will power the OnePlus Nord 5 model, which will also support LPDDR5X RAM. The business claims that the phone will feature Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology, which utilises “hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing.” It is said to support Call of Duty Mobile at 144 frames per second and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) at 90 frames per second.
The Nord 5 will also use the exact graphene-backed thermal management mechanism as the flagship OnePlus 13 model, according to OnePlus. A 7,300sq mm “Cryo-Velocity” VC cooling chamber for heat dispersion will be included in the next phone.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Buds 4 TWS earphones will have two driver units and dual DACs. Both the high-resolution LHDC 5.0 audio codec and a 3D audio experience will be supported. In a special Game Mode, the headsets are stated to provide ultra-low latency of up to 47 ms, hence reducing audio-visual lag while gaming. Zen Green and Storm Grey are the available colour options for the earbuds.
