Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan engaged with several netizens who commented on his social media post yesterday. Big B recently expressed his admiration for his son Abhishek Bachchan following the release of the trailer for his upcoming film, Kalidhar Laapata.
While Amitabh Bachchan frequently praises Abhishek publicly, one netizen inquired why he refrains from publicly lauding his wife, Jaya Bachchan, and daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He responded to the fan’s query, stating that he praises them in his heart and holds the utmost respect for the ladies.
In a recent post, Amitabh shared photographs of himself waving to fans gathered outside his residence, Jalsa. In the caption, he defiantly wrote, “Yes, I praise Abhishek. So?” A netizen then commented, “Toh you should also praise your daughter, daughter-in-law, wife the same way.” To this, Amitabh Bachchan replied, “Yes I shall praise them in my heart… not publicly… respect for the ladies.”
Another user controversially remarked, “Paid fans”. Amitabh quickly retorted, “Prove it! You are small-minded… why don’t you pay and get your fans too.” One fan described Abhishek as a “mature and responsible person in the whole family”. Amitabh answered, “He has love and respect and dignity and care for all.”
