According to the latest report, the next Galaxy S series may come with a 16GB RAM option in every area. Compared to the current Galaxy S25 series, this would be an improvement.
Only the Galaxy S25 Ultra, available in select regions including China and Korea, features 16GB of RAM. 12GB of RAM is included with the base Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+.
Additionally, according to the informant, Apple plans to include a 12GB RAM option in the upcoming iPhone 17 series. September of this year may see the formal launch of the range, which is anticipated to feature the vanilla iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Compared to the 8GB RAM found in the current iPhone 16 models, this would be an improvement. The iPhone 18 series, expected to be released next year, is reportedly going to continue using 12GB.
