Health & Wellness Initiative for Disabled Soldiers by PMK Foundation and QMTI Pune

Pune, October 2025: In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Pink October), the PMK Foundation, in collaboration with Queen Mary’s Technical Institute (QMTI), Pune, organized a special Health Awareness and Screening Camp dedicated to disabled soldiers.

The initiative was held under the esteemed guidance of Col. Vasant Ballewar (Retd.) and led by Mrs. Nayna Kanal, Founder of PMK Foundation. The camp aimed to promote preventive healthcare and create awareness among the brave veterans who continue to inspire the nation.

The program featured:
🎗 Breast Cancer Awareness Session
👂 Audiology Awareness & Screening – conducted by Dr. Deepika Arya
🧍 Posture Management & Physiotherapy Screening – conducted by Dr. Kinjal Jadhav and Dr. Vishal Jadhav

The event was efficiently coordinated by Mr. M. P. Shinde and received strong support from Hinstan Events (Dr. Archana Sharma), Ambadnya, Sopheco, Times Applaud Foundation, and Vrittdinak Digital Newspaper.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Nayna Kanal expressed gratitude to all partners and highlighted the importance of early detection and consistent care. “Health awareness and preventive screenings are vital steps toward ensuring that our heroes lead healthier and more fulfilling lives,” she said.

The initiative stands as a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and service—promoting health, dignity, and well-being for India’s courageous veterans.
