Fans of Bollywood star Govinda were left worried late Tuesday night after news broke that the beloved actor had been hospitalised in Mumbai. The 61-year-old fainted at his residence and was immediately rushed to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu. His close friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that Govinda experienced a sudden episode of disorientation before being taken to the hospital around 1 a.m.
Bindal shared that the actor was given medication after consulting a doctor and admitted to the emergency ward for further evaluation. Several medical tests have been conducted, and the results are awaited. So far, no additional updates about his condition have been released.
What makes the timing of this incident even more striking is that just a day earlier, Govinda was seen visiting veteran actor Dharmendra at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. A video that quickly went viral showed Govinda driving himself to the hospital and appearing visibly emotional as he checked on the ailing star.
Dharmendra, who has been receiving treatment for health issues, has been visited by several members of his family, including Hema Malini, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Esha Deol. Other major Bollywood figures such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aryan Khan have also dropped by to offer their support.
