Grace and simplicity came together beautifully as Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared new pictures from her ‘Bapu Bomma’ series while promoting her upcoming film Maa Inti Bangaaram. The look instantly caught attention for its subtle yet powerful aesthetic.

Samantha described the series as a tribute to an artistic style that celebrates softness and simplicity, inspired by the iconic Bapu art form known for its delicate and feminine visuals.

For the shoot, she wore a handwoven yellow cotton kasavu saree with green borders, blending traditional elements with a modern touch. The saree was specially designed by Rouka by Sreejith Jeevan and is part of a collaboration with Care4Chendamangalam. Priced at around ₹7,725, the outfit highlighted craftsmanship and heritage.

The saree featured fine appliqué and embroidery work, made using gold-plated copper threads that give kasavu its signature shine. Draped in a classic style, it had neatly arranged pleats in the front and a pallu flowing gracefully to the floor, adding elegance to the overall look.

She paired it with a green kasavu silk blouse with yellow borders, a slightly deep neckline, and half sleeves, giving the outfit a subtle contemporary twist while maintaining its traditional feel.

Her jewellery choices perfectly matched the theme of simplicity. Samantha wore traditional gold pieces, including a choker layered with a delicate chain, matching earrings, rings, anklets, and a mix of green bangles and gold kadhas. The jewellery was sourced from Sheetal Zaveri, while the bangles came from Divas Mantra.

The styling focused on a soft and natural look. Her hair was styled in a centre-parted, half-tied way, adding to the vintage-inspired vibe. Her makeup featured defined brows, soft brown eyeshadow, mascara, lightly flushed cheeks, and a glossy mauve lip. A small red bindi and subtle contouring completed the look.

With this appearance, Samantha once again showed how simplicity, when styled thoughtfully, can leave a strong impact. The ‘Bapu Bomma’ series celebrates traditional art and textiles while presenting them in a fresh, modern way.
