Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein Bombed At Day 1, Failed To Beat Vedaa

Akshay Kumar’s latest release, Khel Khel Mein, has had a surprisingly underwhelming start at the box office. Despite receiving positive reviews from critics and a strong promotional campaign, the film failed to surpass the opening day collections of John Abraham’s action-packed thriller Vedaa, which hit the theaters the same weekend.

Day 1 Collection

Khel Khel Mein managed to earn approximately ₹ 5 crores on its first day which is the lowest among the Independence releases, a figure that falls short of expectations for a film headlined by Akshay Kumar. The film, which blends comedy, drama, and a social message, was anticipated to draw in large crowds, especially given Akshay Kumar’s massive fan base and his track record of box-office successes.

However, the film’s first-day earnings were notably lower than those of Stree 2 which raked in a robust ₹ 54.35 crores on its opening day. Vedaa, which earned ₹ 6.52 crores had a slight edge over Khel Khel Mein with its high-octane action sequences and John Abraham’s intense performance, which seemed to resonate more with the audience, particularly in mass circuits.

Khel Khel Mein has received praises from the audiences and people have also loved the acting of Akshay Kumar, it is expected that the movie’s business will increase over the weekend.
