Bollywood fans are in for a treat this Diwali as two of the year’s most anticipated films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again, are set to clash at the box office. Despite concerns about this potential competition, director Anees Bazmee has confirmed that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will stick to its originally planned release date, November 1.
In an interview, Bazmee reaffirmed the decision, dismissing any rumours of a postponement. He expressed his excitement about the film’s release, which coincides with his birthday, making it a particularly special occasion. “Sir, I never planned such a thing in my life, and I don’t feel birthday is a special day. But this birthday will be special because my film will be going out into the world with its message of happiness and laughter,” Bazmee shared.
He emphasized the importance of bringing joy to audiences, especially in the current times. “The need of the hour is laughter, and I hope we’ve delivered. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a larger-than-life film compared to the first one, with music, songs, dance, laughter, and joy everywhere,” he added, highlighting the extensive effort that has gone into the film. Bazmee also noted that the special effects in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are something audiences should look forward to, marking it as a technically superior film.
With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again both set to release during the festive Diwali season, the box office is expected to see a major showdown, offering fans a double dose of entertainment.
