The popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) has been in the headlines for a range of controversies, particularly regarding claims from some cast members about mistreatment on set.
Recently, reports surfaced alleging a physical altercation between the show’s lead actor, Dilip Joshi, and producer Asit Modi, suggesting that Joshi even grabbed Asit Modi by the collar.
However, in an interview, Dilip Joshi dismissed these claims as entirely baseless.
Addressing the rumors, he expressed surprise and disappointment at their spread, stating:
“I just want to clear the air about all these rumours going around. There have been some stories in the media about me and Asit Bhai that are completely false, and it really saddens me to see such things being said…It’s disheartening to see negativity being spread about something that has brought so much joy to so many for so many years. Every time such rumours pop up, it feels like we’re constantly explaining that they are completely untrue. It’s tiring, and it’s frustrating because it’s not just about us—it’s about all the fans who love the show and get upset reading these things.”
It is really good to hear that things are completely fine among the actors in TMKOC.
