Director Sukumar, known for the Pushpa series, has shared his thoughts on Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s upcoming film Game Changer. He believes Ram Charan has delivered a National Award-worthy performance, predicting the movie will be a massive hit when it releases on January 10.
Speaking at a promotional event in Dallas, Sukumar revealed he had already seen the film alongside veteran actor Chiranjeevi.
He described the first half as “awesome” and the interval as “blockbuster.” Sukumar said the second half, especially the flashback scenes, gave him goosebumps, comparing his experience to watching director Shankar’s classics like Gentleman and Indian. Reflecting on Ram Charan’s performance, Sukumar expressed confidence in his chances for a National Award, similar to his belief after working with him on Rangasthalam.
Sukumar and Ram Charan share a special bond. While Sukumar admits he doesn’t usually stay connected with actors after their films are completed, Ram Charan is an exception. He called Charan his brother and said their friendship has continued beyond Rangasthalam. The two frequently meet and discuss various topics, and Sukumar is excited to collaborate with him again in the future.
