As TMKOC makers claimed that Jennifer was undisciplined, abusive and lacked focus, former director of the show has come out in her support and this is what he has to say.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been one of the most popular, watched and loved Indian TV shows; however for some time now, it has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Over the years, a number of characters have quit TMKOC including Shailesh Lodha who played the character of Taarak Mehta. Needless to say, his exit shocked viewers and he made some cryptic posts afterwards too.
He also filed a case against Asit Modi for non-payment of dues and if this was not enough, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal who portrayed the character of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi accused Asit Modi of abusive behaviour and sexual harassment. After the allegations, the makers released a statement in which they claimed that Jennifer lacked focus, she was undisciplined and her nature was abusive.
Now former director of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Malav Rajda comes out in support of the actress and he makes it clear that Jennifer’s nature is quite jovial and she easily gels with everyone. He also reveals that in his tenure of 14 years on the TMKOC sets, she neither misbehaved with anyone nor she was abusive.
In his words, “Jennifer is one of the most jovial people on the sets. She is a happy-go-lucky person and gelled well with everyone. Be it the technical team, direction team, DOP, hair and makeup, or the co-stars, she was on good terms with everyone on the sets. I’ve been on the sets for 14 years, and Jennifer has never misbehaved with anyone ever in front of me. She has never ever been abusive on the sets.”
Apart from Jennifer, another actress Monika Bhadoriya who played Bawri in TMKOC accused Asit Modi and Sohail Ramani of being abusive to the actors.
Let’s see what happens next!
