Kangana Ranaut, the Bollywood actress-politician has her share of controversies including the one which also involved Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan.
The controversy began when Kangana Ranaut referred to “silly exes” in an interview. While she didn’t mention Hrithik Roshan by name, he responded by sending her a legal notice demanding a retraction, igniting a public feud between the two. Kangana and her lawyer fiercely countered Hrithik’s claims, and by 2016, the legal battle between them had become a major topic of controversy with no clear resolution in sight.
Rumors of an alleged affair between Kangana and Hrithik began circulating during the filming of, followed by speculation about their breakup. Both actors remained silent on the matter until Kangana’s interview brought it back into the spotlight.
There were also reports that Kangana was initially cast opposite Hrithik in Aashiqui 3 but was later removed from the project after Hrithik allegedly refused to work with her. During the interview, Kangana spoke about exes doing “silly things” for attention and mentioned that she had moved on and closed that chapter in her life. This comment fueled media and public speculation about whether she was hinting at Hrithik Roshan.
However, now a video is going viral in which Hrithik and Kangana are seen together in a talk show of Farah Khan, in this video, Kangana is talking about problems she faced initially in her career and Hrithik is listening to her quite attentively.
Kangana says, “Main auditions ke liye jaati thi toh mujhe kehte the ki ‘Tumhare baal curly kyun hai? Rani Mukerji ke baal dekho, bilkul curly nahi hai’ (When I would go for auditions, I was asked why do I have curly hair, unlike Rani, who does not have curly hair). Phir maine socha baal straight kara lete hai, toh phir uske baad kehte the ki ‘Tumhe dimple kyun nahi hai, Preity Zinta ko dimple hai’ (Then I thought perhaps I should get my hair straightened. But then I was told that I do not have dimples like Preity). So, I realised that basically – you cannot be somebody else.”
