Meet Ram Kumar Pal, The Businessman Whose Dedication Towards Social Service Is Inspirational

In the times of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a lot of suffering and grief in the world but some good Samaritans had taken the responsibility of bringing smiles on the faces of others by helping them in the tough phase.

COVID-19 has not only taken a number of lives but it has also robbed many of us of our livelihood as people lost their jobs, many businesses got shut down and even the well-off families are now forced to live in hand to mouth condition. In such times, people like Ram Kumar Pal have been working pretty hard for providing help to the needy, whether it is in the form of food or donation.

Ram Kumar Pal is an active social worker who provided food, sanitizers, masks, etc. to the underprivileged section of society as majority of them were not able to earn anything during the COVID-19 lockdown and he tried his best to ensure that nobody slept hungry in his city. Apart from this, he also sent spray machines to Ayodhya, Odisha and Mumbai Suburban Police stations. Besides, he was involved in the noble work of distributing milk to the poor kids who live on footpath which he did in association with Metro Mumbai Channel.

Ram Kumar Pal is also a member of Rashtriya Karyakarini Kisaan Morcha, BJP, which is focused on working for the welfare of the Indian farmers. Though he is pretty active in the field of politics as well, he has always given more preference to social service because helping others and making them smile is what he really wants.

Ram Kumar Pal has received many awards and accolades for the social service that he has done for public, especially for the poor and underprivileged sections of the society. Recently he was presented with the Rashtriya Sewa Samman, 2021, by the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshiyari in a function organized at Raj Bhavan. The Rashtriya Sewa Samman is instituted by “Gau Sewa Rakshak Trust” Gau Bharat Bharati. He has also been honored with Great Iconic Personality of India and Great Social Worker by the Nation’s Pride Book of Records. The National Journalist Welfare Board also noticed the good work done by Ram Kumar Pal and awarded him with Rastriya Sambadika Gourav Award. He has also been felicitated by the prestigious Shri Dada Saheb Phalke International Awards Film Foundation as they have presented Certificate of Honor to him for his work as a social activist. He was felicitated by Government of India ministry of youth affairs & sports Nehru Yuva Kendra. He was a member of Maharashtra for many years.

He balances his business and social service in a pretty good manner and in order to make his magazine Overseas Look available to more people, Ram Kumar Pal had a meeting with Smt. Darshana Jardosh, the Union State Minister of Railways in her office in New Delhi for the purpose of discussing the ways by which the copies of Overseas Look magazine can be made available at the Indian Railway Stations and also inside the coaches of the Indian trains. On this occasion, Ram Kumar Pal also invited Smt. Darshana Jardosh to Mumbai and also talked about some special work that he intends to work in collaboration with the Indian Railways. The politician from Uttar Pradesh, Mithilesh Kumar was also present on this special occasion and hopefully the Indian citizens will soon get to read the Overseas Look magazine while travelling as well.

He was the incharge of BJP Kisaan Cell in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu and he played a very big role in the politics of Mumbai. Dirty politics is being played by some other political parties in regard to the North Indians and their rights but while participating in a talk show, Ram Kumar Pal has made it clear that he is not at all in the favor of categorizing people on the basis of their native region. In fact in his opinion, a person should be given a chance to contest election by the party or should be given a big responsibility only if he is worthy of it. Ram Kumar Pal strongly condemns the petty politics played by other parties that are trying to draw a line between Mumbaikars and the North Indians. He also says that ultimately it is the poor people who become victim of such politics so the political parties should abstain from it.

Ram Kumar Pal is one of those individuals who are working with full devotion for making this world a better place by imparting knowledge and information through the magazine Overseas Look and also by helping the weaker section of the society and serving the farmers who are known as the backbone of the nation.
