Nag Ashwin Reacts To Criticism That Kalki 2898 AD’s First Half Faced

Kalki 2898 AD which has been directed by Nag Ashwin has broken many records at the box-office, the movie has an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, etc. in important roles and its story is highly inspired from Mahabharata.

Though Kalki 2898 AD is getting a lot of love of the audiences, there are some who are complaining that the first half of the movie is slow, now Nag Ashwin has responded to the criticism and this is what he has stated in an interview, “It has been a universal response that people found the first half slow, and it’s very valid. In a three-hour film, if viewers liked two hours and 54 minutes, I will take that.”

Nag Ashwin further said, “A movie like this is beyond us. The ambition was bigger in the sense, there was a larger thing at stake than just us. Many makers were waiting for the result of this sci-fi film. If it didn’t work, it would have closed doors for more years.”

Kalki 2898 AD is certainly a treat to watch, what do you say?
