The Budhana police in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, have detained Nawazuddin’s elder brother on charges of fraud. On behalf of the District Magistrate court, he allegedly sent an order letter to the consolidation department in violation of the law.

Ayazuddin Siddiqui has been involved in disputes before. He was charged in 2018 for allegedly posting an insulting picture on social media and hurting religious feelings. A case was brought against Ayazuddin in Budhan town last evening, based on a Hindu activist’s claim that he had uploaded an offensive photo to Facebook, according to Budhana Circle Officer Hariram Yadav.
