Krrish, who loves the superhero-action franchise, is about to go through a significant generational transition in its creative direction. For ‘Krrish 4’, veteran director Rakesh Roshan, who directed his son Hrithik Roshan in the other films, formally resigned and gave Hrithik Roshan the reigns.
Hrithik Roshan will lead Krrish 4 as director
Hrithik, who has played the Krrish series’ iconic title character since its beginning, will now have two roles: he will be the franchise’s visionary behind the camera and its superhero on screen.
Confirming the decision, Rakesh Roshan shared, “I am passing the baton of direction for Krrish 4 to my son, Hrithik Roshan, who has lived, breathed, and dreamt about this franchise since its inception. Hrithik has a clear and ambitious vision for taking Krrish forward and keeping the audience engaged for decades.
As a producer, I couldn’t be prouder to see him take the director’s seat for a film with deep meaning for our family. Krrish has entertained audiences worldwide, and Hrithik will now shape the following chapters of this superhero saga, elevating the vision I created to even greater heights.”
Taking to his official X( Twitter) handle, Roshan also announced his son as the director of ‘Krish 4’. He wrote, “Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 yrs you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Adi Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings! ♥️.”

What Can We Expect from Krrish 4?
Expectations are high for the fourth chapter of India’s most popular superhero franchise, which Hrithik Roshan will direct. Although the premise is unknown, industry sources predict that Krrish 4 will have state-of-the-art visual effects, a more extended storyline, and a novel take on the superhero universe.
