Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently received a death threat via a phone call, prompting heightened security and a police investigation.
The threatening call, allegedly made by a Raipur resident named Faizan, led the Mumbai Police to register a case at the Bandra Police Station under Sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). According to sources, a Mumbai Police team has been dispatched to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to investigate the caller’s identity and motivations.
Following the massive success of his recent films, Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan has been under tight security due to ongoing threats. In October 2023, he was provided Y+ security, one of the highest levels of protection, ensuring that security personnel are always close by. Recently, the actor reportedly avoided greeting fans outside his residence, Mannat, on his birthday, a decision speculated to be due to security concerns. While Shah Rukh’s team has not publicly addressed these reports, the actor’s visible security measures reflect ongoing concerns for his safety.
