Former India selector Jatin Paranjpe offered candid advice in a column written for a sports magazine, outlining a roadmap for Shaw’s revival.

“Fitness is the missing piece,” Paranjpe wrote, stressing that without improved conditioning, Shaw’s cricketing future remains uncertain.
Paranjpe encouraged Shaw to draw inspiration from legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Despite their immense success, these players remained grounded and driven by their sheer love for the game. Paranjpe believes rekindling this passion could help Shaw rediscover his potential.
