Rakhi Sawant, the famous actress-dancer has recently been awarded with Inspiring Leaders Award 2023 by Times Applaud and the award was presented to the actress by the famous former cricketer Harbhajan Singh.
Rakhi Sawant who has now converted to Islam and is also known as Fatima is going through a tough phase of life on the personal front as she has got divorced from her husband Adil Khan Durrani. Earlier, Rakhi had accused Adil of domestic violence, cheating and stealing her jewellery as well but she got hurt more when her friend of 8-9 years, Rajshree More also went against her. Another actress-dancer Sherlyn Chopra also came out in support of Adil Khan Durrani because of which Rakhi and Sherlyn were also at loggerheads.
After receiving the award, Rakhi gave an interview in which she talked about her journey and the difficulties that she faced. She also says that it is easy to travel across seven seas but it is very difficult to live the life of Rakhi Sawant.
She slammed both Sherlyn Chopra and Rajshree More for supporting her husband and claimed that they both are earning their bread because of her (Rakhi) and also said that they both are lusting for her husband.

However, a twist came pretty soon as a new video went viral in which Sherlyn and Rakhi are seen hugging each other and they are calling each other sisters. Sherlyn Chopra went on to the extent of taking a vow of a religious book Quran and said that Rakhi will always be her sister for life.
