Nitish Kumar’s Controversial Speech: A Clash Between Politics and Sensitivity

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sparked criticism with an odd speech on Tuesday on the importance of women’s education. The National Commission for Women and female MLAs have since widely denounced the comments, which were made in the state Assembly. Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister, was certain that the remarks “should be taken as sex education.”

“I have one thing to tell you. If there is a misinterpretation, it is incorrect. The CM made a comment about sex education. Every time the subject of sex education is brought up, people hesitate. These days, schools teach this. In schools, biology and science are taught. Kids discover it. He stated that practical steps should be taken to halt population growth.

It is important not to interpret this incorrectly. It need to be regarded as a sexual education. Yadav informed the press.  The head of Janata Dal is seen making a passing reference to marriage congress and population control while emphasising the need of females’ education. Yadav was among the legislators in attendance who appeared to be laughing at his comments.

The statement seems to have less of an impact on BJP members and other users of social media. Since then, a lot of people have criticised Kumar for his “derogatory” remarks, and others have called for an apology right away.

In Indian politics, there has never been a more obscene politician than Nitish Kumar. Nitish Babu seems to have fallen victim to the ‘adult, B-grade flicks’ epidemic. He should not be allowed to make statements with two meanings. The people he surrounds himself with appear to have an impact on him “tweeted the Bihar BJP.

On behalf of all Indian women, the NCW has also asked that the CM provide a “short and clear apology.” Chairperson Rekha Sharma said that his remarks were “crass” and “an affront to the dignity and respect that every woman deserves.” “His use of such cheap and disparaging language throughout his speech is a horrible stain on our civilization. One can only image the horror the state must be going through under his leadership if a leader in a democracy can say such things so freely. We demand responsibility and are steadfastly opposed to such actions,” she continued
