When a wall structure dropped in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, on Tuesday, at least six workers were killed and several more were injured. The event happened in the village of Lahboli when a brick-kin wall fell on the laborers. Following the event, the police administration acted quickly, and the injured were sent to a local hospital.
Pramendra Dobhal, a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), arrived quickly and assessed the situation. The names of the dead have not been made public by the police department, and more information on the hospitalized employees’ injuries is also pending.
“At around 8:30 in the morning, we learned that a brick kiln wall in Lahboli village, which is under the Manglaur police station, had fallen. While several more have been injured, at least six deaths have been officially declared. They were taken to a hospital by ambulance. The district police PRO claimed that SSP Pramendra Dobhal was at the location.
