MS Dhoni Launches Legal Battle Over ₹15 Crore Dispute with Ex-Business Partners

Famous cricket player Mahendra Singh Dhoni has accused former business associates in a sports company of cheating him out of ₹ 15 crore and has filed a criminal case against them. Regarding a 2017 commercial transaction, a case has been filed in Ranchi Court against Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwas of Arka Sports and Management Limited.

According to reports, Mr. Diwakar and Mr. Dhoni inked an agreement in 2017 to launch cricket academies throughout the globe in the cricket player’s honour. However, the complaint claims that he violated the terms stated in the contract.It said that all terms and conditions were broken, but Arka Sports was still obligated to pay the franchise fee and split revenues according to the agreed-upon percentage. On August 15, 2021, Mr. Dhoni withdrew the authorization letter from Arka Sports and, according to the statement, unsuccessfully sent many legal letters.

The former Indian cricket captain, who is being represented by lawyer Dayanand Singh, claims that the firm’s scam cost him almost ₹ 15 crore.
