An unfortunate incident took place in an Alaska Airlines flight yesterday because of which it had to make an emergency landing at Oregon but the good thing is that no one was hurt in this incident.
The Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 from Portland, Oregon flew at 4:52 pm for Ontorio, Canada but it had to return to Portland at 5:30 pm after a part of Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 plane’s body and a window blew out in the air. As per the photos which are going viral, a large hole is seen in the side of the plane, near the passenger’s seat as it was the emergency exit.
Thankfully, the seat was unoccupied but it is being said that a child almost got sucked out in the air, luckily he was saved.
The Alaska Airlines tweeted, “AS1282 from Portland to Ontario, CA experienced an incident this evening soon after departure. The aircraft landed safely back at Portland International Airport with 171 guests and 6 crew members. We are investigating what happened and will share more as it becomes available.”
