Humanity got ashamed once again in our country and this time it was a mother who brutally killed her 4 yrs old son.
We are talking about 39-yr Suchana Seth who is a CEO of an AI startup in Bengaluru, it is being said that she killed her son because of her strained relations with her estranged husband, Venkat Raman.
The couple got married in 2010 and their son was born in 2019 but problems in their marriage increased so much that they filed for divorce in 2020. After that, the court allowed Venkat to meet their son on Sundays and Suchana was not happy with this.
Suchana was arrested by police after the body of her son was found in the big bag which she was carrying from Goa. Venkat was in Jakarta, Indonesia at that time and after he came back, police did the postmortem as Venkat’s permission was needed.
Dr Kumar Naik, the government doctor who conducted the postmortem stated, “The boy was killed more than 36 hours earlier. He was strangled to death or what we call smothering. It doesn’t look like the child was strangulated using hands. It looks like a pillow or a wire or some other material was used.”
A police official revealed that Suchana also tried to commit suicide after killing her son by cutting her wrist but she failed.
