Travelling from one place to another is a hectic task and there is no denying the fact that a person should travel only if he/she is perfectly medically fit. However, there are times when travelling becomes a necessity even when a person is very sick but it can result in a very bad experience for the person himself and for others as well.
Recently, a Reddit user wrote an incident which happened on a Delta flight which she took on Christmas eve (24 Dec 2023), it was a connecting flight from Birmingham Alabama to Atlanta, Georgia en route to Key West, Florida.
The Reddit user wrote that after 20 minutes of departure, there was a shitty smell on the flight, the online user asked her 8 years old daughter if she pooped but she replied in negative. A little later, she came to know that someone who was sitting 8 rows in front of her had pooped in his seat.
The post read, “Well me and my daughter were headed to Key West Christmas Eve and had to take a connecting flight from bham to Atlanta. About 20 minutes into flight I get a terrible smell and ask my daughter if she has pooped (she’s 8). She denies any wrongdoing and the smell lingers for the rest of the flight. Upon exiting the plane, 8 rows in front of me someone had shit all in their seat, the bottom of the seat and the back was covered. This person had set in their shit for a good hour and then departed into Atlanta airport covered in shit. Definitely a first for me. Also upon boarding, once the plane was full, they announced that someone had left their dog in the boarding area. One of my more memorable delta flights.”
Please avoid travelling when you are sick.
