In the modern times, people have started fighting over petty issues and sometimes these fights turn out to be big shocking incidents.
In a horrific incident, a person suffered serious facial injuries just because he wanted to have some more chutney. The incident happened in Shahdara’s Farsh Bazaar area where a person named Sandeep (34 yrs) went to have momos. Sandeep asked for some extra red chutney from the vendor Vikas but the latter refused, citing that he has limited stock and other customers will need it.
However, Sandeep still persisted for extra red chutney which resulted in his fight with Vikas and the latter got so angry that he took a knife and stabbed Sandeep on his face.
DCP (Shahdara), Rohit Meena told the reporters, “Our team met Sandeep, who stated that he had gone to purchase momos from the cart of Vikas, who is a resident of the same colony. Vikas handed over the momos to Sandeep along with red sauce. Sandeep demanded more sauce from Vikas, who refused saying he had a limited stock of the sauce and more customers would need it. When Sandeep insisted an altercation broke out between the two and it soon turned violent. Vikas picked up a knife from the cart and stabbed Sandeep twice in his face, causing serious stab wounds.”
Sandeep is currently admitted in Hedgewar Hospital and is getting treated for his wounds, the police managed to nab Vikas on Thursday morning as he fled after committing the crime.
