The IPL 2024 will come to an end soon as now we know the names of the four teams which will be playing in the play-offs – Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
RCB managed to confirm their place in the play-offs by defeating Chennai Super Kings in their last match by 27 runs. The match was played on 18 May at M. Chinnaswamy stadium, Bengaluru.
After the match, the RCB players had an interaction with the Universe Boss, Chris Gayle who has played 85 matches for RCB (2011-2017) in which he has scored 3163 runs at the strike rate of 152 and while playing for RCB, he smashed 5 centuries and 19 fifties.
While chatting with Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli proudly tells him that he has smashed maximum sixes (37) in this IPL and he also asks Gayle to come and play in the IPL next year as impact player rule is there for him and he won’t need to field.
