Imran Khan, the Bollywood actor is going to make a comeback in the industry after a long gap of 9 years and once again he will be doing it with the help of his uncle, Aamir Khan.
If you remember, Aamir Khan played an important role in Imran Khan’s debut in 2008 and now once again, he is going to help his nephew in making a comeback.
Imran Khan made his debut with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008) in which he acted opposite Genelia D’Souza and the movie was a big hit at the box-office. Though Imran worked in few other movies after that, he was not able to repeat the success of his debut film and then he disappeared from Bollywood.
Recently, Imran Khan gave an interview in which he answered questions related to various aspects and one of them was related to the sequel of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
Imran feels that making a sequel of Jaane Tu… is not a good idea, he said, “In Jaane Tu, it’s a kind of film where characters’ emotional journeys is the culmination of the plot and because of that, to have a sequel you have to then reopen their emotionality which may or may not work. Sequels generally are for plot-driven films, not character-driven films.”
He explained further, “Like in action franchise, Spiderman has to swap the bad guy at the end of the film. One bad guy, another bad guy…So because it’s plot-driven, you can always make another.”
Well, chances of the sequel of Jaane Tu…. are almost nil so we think that fans should also forget about it.
