Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 has shattered one more record on the box-office by becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024. In just five days, the movie has amassed an estimated box office collection of Rs 228 crore. Stree 2 surpassed the records set by Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter and Prabhas-Amitabh Bachchan’s Kalki 2898 AD, earning the highest opening weekend of the year with its extended weekend. Additionally, Stree 2 has already exceeded the lifetime earnings of Fighter.
As per the reports, early estimates indicate that Stree 2 collected Rs 37 crore on Monday, bringing its total box office collection to Rs 228.45 crore. Bollywood Hungama reported that Fighter had earned Rs 115.30 crore during its opening weekend and concluded its box office run with a lifetime collection of Rs 199.45 crore. Stree 2 also broke the Hindi box office collection record of Kalki 2898 AD.
Reports suggest that the Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD had earned Rs 112.15 crore during its opening weekend and ended its run with a lifetime collection of Rs 294.25 crore in Hindi alone.
