Panchayat Season 4 In The Works, Director Reveals When It Will Be Released

The creators of the popular Amazon Prime Video series “Panchayat” have confirmed that work on “Panchayat Season 4” is underway, much to the excitement of fans. Director Deepak Kumar Mishra recently announced that production has begun, following the intense and thrilling conclusion of Season 3. Viewers are now eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Deepak Kumar Mishra has revealed that the beloved comedy-drama series has at least two more seasons planned, with the team already working on the fourth season. He also mentioned that discussions for a fifth season are in progress. The fourth season is expected to premiere in 2026. Reflecting on the release pattern, the first season debuted in 2020, with the second and third seasons following in 2022 and 2024, respectively. Given the consistent two-year gap between seasons, a 2026 release for Season 4 seems likely.

Mishra made these statements just days before the premiere of the third season, which stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa. The director disclosed that several episodes of Season 4 have already been written. In his words, “Season 4 writing has begun. There is usually no transition between seasons for us. We have written three or four episodes of the show, and the third season is already complete. We have considered producing Seasons 4 and 5 thus far. We have a clear vision for Season 4 and a more expansive plan for Season 5.”

Fans are speculating that many unresolved questions from the previous season, such as who attacked Pradhan Ji and whether Abhishek will pass the CAT exam, will be addressed in the upcoming season. Additionally, Panchayat 4 is expected to focus on the Panchayat elections, a significant event that will determine Phulera Gram Panchayat’s new Pradhan. New characters introduced in the last season are also anticipated to play key roles in the evolving storyline.
