He even refused to refer to her as a “sister”, a title often associated with her in the industry, instead highlighting her beauty and charm. “Who would want to call this enchanting woman his sister! She is the gorgeous Lata, the love of my life,” he shared.
Dev Anand spoke highly of Lata’s professionalism, emphasizing her irreplaceability in the industry. He noted how she would sometimes cancel recordings to achieve perfection, explaining that she always aimed to deliver her best because her work reached millions. “I would happily wait for her,” he said, appreciating her commitment to excellence.
