China introduced the Redmi Book 16 2025 on Friday. It replaces the Redmi Book 16 2024, which was introduced in the company’s native country in November 2023. The laptop will debut with the Redmi Turbo 4. Xiaomi teased some of the alleged device’s features but did not provide any specifications. Pre-orders for the laptop began before its release, and it has been confirmed that it will be powered by an Intel Core processor.
Teased Redmi Book 16 2025 Launch
Xiaomi posted information on the Redmi Book 16 2025 on Weibo, a Chinese social media site. According to the teaser, it will run Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and integrate better with the Xiaomi Pengpai Zhilian ecosystem, allowing it to communicate with other Xiaomi devices.
It has also been verified that the laptop has artificial intelligence (AI)- powered battery improvements, such as AI scheduling, which can recognize situations and modify power usage to provide efficiency. According to the firm, the laptop can now run for over 19 hours on a single charge.
Although the precise chipset has not yet been disclosed, the Redmi Book 16 2025 will be powered by an Intel Core processor with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 47W. It is anticipated to improve upon the features of the Redmi Book 16 2024, which was its predecessor.
Redmi Book 2024 Features and Details
The Redmi Book 16 2024 has a 16-inch 2.5 K (2,560 x 1,600 pixel) display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a maximum brightness of 400 nits, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and support for Dolby Vision. The laptop is powered by 13th-generation Intel Core i5-13500H chipsets with Intel Iris Xe graphics and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. It also has 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 13th-generation Intel Core i5-13500H chipsets with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The operating system is Windows 11.
Additional features include a 1080p webcam, quad microphone system, two 2W speakers, and a backlit keyboard with a power button that also functions as a fingerprint sensor. The 72Wh battery that powers the Redmi Book 16 2024 supports 100W GaN fast charging.
