Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro Plus with AI-Powered Features and EV-grade Battery

With some significant improvements like the first 6,200mAh EV-grade battery in the segment, dual-sided Corning guerilla glass, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2 with a plethora of AI features, Xiaomi has unveiled three new models of its flagship Redmi Note 14 series: the entry-level Note 14, the mid-tier Note 14 Pro, and the high-end Note 14 Pro Plus.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer unveiled the newest models in its Redmi series, created with a focus on artificial intelligence, during its launch event in New Delhi on Monday, December 9.

With some significant improvements like the first 6,200mAh EV-grade battery in the segment, dual-sided Corning guerilla glass, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2 with a plethora of AI features, Xiaomi has unveiled three new models of its flagship Redmi Note 14 series: the entry-level Note 14, the mid-tier Note 14 Pro, and the high-end Note 14 Pro Plus.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer unveiled the newest models in its Redmi series, created with a focus on artificial intelligence, during its launch event in New Delhi on Monday, December 9.

According to Xiaomi, the 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display is the brightest Note ever, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits.

The camera features a 50MP Lighthunder 800 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with a 2.5x optimum zoom. The smartphone has a dual-tone finish and a curved back and is available in Titan Black, Phantom Purple, and Spectre Blue. AI Image Expansion, AI Erase Pro, AI SmartClip, and AI Cutout are the editing-focused AI tools that will come pre-installed on the device.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Xiaomi’s website, and in-store starting on December 13. It will cost Rs 29,999.

The 6.67-inch Redmi Note 14 Pro has a 1.5K AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, the same as its older sister. It is now IP68 + IP69 rated, meaning it can withstand being submerged in 1.5 meters of water, and it will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Phantom Purple, Ivy Green, and Titan Black are the three colour options for the vegan leather-finished Note 14 Pro.

Regarding optics, the Note 14 Pro will also include the 50MP Sony LYT 600. It contains a 2MP macro and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The phone has a 5,500mAh battery that can be charged at a 45W rapid rate. More than 18 AI functions will be available on the smartphone through regular upgrades.

Starting on December 13, the Redmi Note 14 Pro will be sold for Rs 23,999 on Flipkart, Xiaomi’s website, and in physical stores.

For the first time, the Redmi Note 14 5G will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The 6.67-inch screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2100 nits. Its 5110mAH battery has 45W turbo-charging capabilities. According to the business, the base model will also have AI features.

The Redmi Note 14 5G model will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Xiaomi’s website, and in-store starting on December 13. It will cost Rs 17,999.
