Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has conveyed her relief following the clearance of Rhea Chakraborty in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Fatima, who has consistently voiced her support for Rhea, had defended her during the intense scrutiny she faced in 2020.
After years of speculation and public trials, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially given a clean chit to Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty, and their family, putting an end to their legal ordeal.
As discussions intensify over the unfair treatment meted out to Rhea, with many calling for a national apology, Fatima expressed her happiness over the case’s conclusion. Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, she highlighted how Rhea’s reputation had been tarnished in the name of sensationalism. She wrote, “So true! So glad that finally this trial is over for you baby girl.”
Her post reflected the sentiment that the CBI should have filed the closure report long ago, preventing the damage that had already been done to Rhea’s life and image.
