“Extra Ungli Hrithik Ke….” Wasim Jaffer Takes A Dig At Michael Vaughan

Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer were once again caught up in a playful exchange on social media, pulling each other’s legs on X, formerly known as Twitter.

It all started when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a congratulatory post recognizing Jay Shah, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah for being named among the most powerful Indians. Seizing the opportunity for some banter, Vaughan reshared the post and cheekily asked, “What number is Wasim Jaffer?”

Jaffer was quick with his response, delivering a witty remark in Hindi: “Like I had said before, extra ungli Hrithik ke paas hai par karta Michael Vaughan hai.” His reply referenced Indian actor Hrithik Roshan, who has an extra finger, while alluding to a Hindi idiom that suggests Vaughan was unnecessarily interfering in something that did not concern either of them.

Not one to back down, Vaughan came up with an equally amusing reply, stating, “Because I am Jadoo.” His reference was to the alien character from Hrithik’s popular film Koi Mil Gaya, adding yet another humorous twist to their ongoing social media rivalry.
