The T20 World Cup 2024 was no less than a nightmare for the Pakistani cricket team as first they lost a match to debutant USA and then they lost a match to India which they should have won easily.
Their campaign officially ended after the USA-Ireland match got washed out and USA managed to secure a spot in the Super Eight by earning 1 point for the wash-out match.
Contrary to popular belief, Pakistan didn't get knocked out because USA v IRE got rained off. They got knocked out because Pakistan lost to USA 🙂 #USAvIRE #T20WorldCup

The former England cricketer Michael Vaughan went on to say that as of now, Pakistan is a long way from being a good white ball side, he tweeted, “USA through to the Super 8s … Cricket is going to catch on in the states … !! Pakistan are out … at the moment they are along way off being a good white ball side .. #T20Worldcup”
