The event focused on raising awareness and conducting free screenings for breast and oral cancer, two of the most common cancers affecting communities in India.

The initiative, supported by Health First Diagnostic Centre, extended its healthcare efforts by offering free thyroid blood tests, ensuring a wider scope of preventive health benefits for participants. With more than 100 individuals availing screenings and awareness sessions, the camp proved to be a vital resource for early detection, education, and the promotion of healthier lifestyles.

Medical professionals from Tata Memorial Hospital, along with trained volunteers, conducted thorough check-ups and interactive sessions. These awareness discussions highlighted the importance of regular health screenings, self-examinations, lifestyle management, and early medical consultation for effective treatment and prevention of cancer.

Community members welcomed the initiative, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to undergo free check-ups from a reputed institution like Tata Memorial Hospital. Many attendees noted that such camps not only provide immediate health benefits but also encourage a culture of preventive healthcare that is often overlooked.

The success of the event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of all partners and supporters. Radhey Dhokla joined as the Food Partner, ensuring healthy refreshments for participants, while Times Applaud Foundationlent valuable event support, adding strength to the campaign’s outreach.

The dedicated teams of PMK Foundation and Shree Shani Mahatma Pooja Samiti worked tirelessly to organize and coordinate the camp, ensuring smooth operations and maximum participation. Speaking about the event, organizers emphasized that the primary goal was not only to provide free screenings but also to instill awareness about cancer prevention and timely intervention. They also highlighted plans to conduct similar initiatives in the future, covering a broader range of healthcare services and reaching even more communities.
