Growing up in a famous Bollywood family might seem glamorous, but for Krishna Shroff, the journey to confidence was far from easy. The daughter of actor Jackie Shroff and sister of Tiger Shroff spent years battling self-doubt and struggling with the pressure of being constantly watched by the public.
As a young girl and teenager, Krishna often felt hurt by negative comments on her photos shared in the media. Those remarks affected her deeply and made her believe that being in front of the camera was not something she ever wanted to do.
Everything started changing when Krishna discovered her passion for fitness. Spending time in the gym became more than just a physical routine for her. It helped her build mental strength and slowly overcome the insecurities she had carried for years. According to Krishna, working out gave her a sense of confidence and inner security that she never experienced while growing up.
Over time, that transformation helped her face the spotlight she once feared. Years later, she appeared on reality television shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, proving how far she had come.
In an interview, Krishna shared that during her younger years, the harsh comments she read about herself deeply affected how she saw herself. At that age, she said, criticism can easily feel like the truth. Because of that, she was convinced she would never feel comfortable being in front of cameras. However, once she started focusing on fitness, her mindset began to change. She explained that the gym is not only about building physical strength — it also has a powerful effect on mental well-being, helping her gain confidence and a sense of safety she lacked earlier.
Her growing confidence also pushed her to pursue entrepreneurship. Krishna admitted that starting and building a business takes years of dedication and constant effort. While she once dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur simply because she didn’t want to work for anyone else, she later realised that running your own business actually demands even more commitment. According to her, when you build something of your own, the work never truly stops and the responsibility becomes much greater.
Eventually, Krishna Shroff entered the world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and co-founded her own fitness brand, Matrix Fight Night (MFN). She launched the venture alongside her brother Tiger Shroff and their mother Ayesha Shroff, creating a platform dedicated to promoting MMA in India.
Beyond her professional life, Krishna says her personal journey has also been shaped by her relationship with Afghan MMA fighter Abdul Azim Badakhshi. The couple has been together for five years, and she credits him for playing an important role in her growth.
Krishna Shroff describes herself as someone with a lot of energy and sometimes a chaotic personality, while Badakhshi brings a calm and steady presence into her life. According to her, that balance has helped keep her grounded and motivated, contributing greatly to her emotional and personal development.
