Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood actor is certainly an inspiration for all of us because he is still working at the age of 80 yrs and despite seeing tough days, he never gave up and regained his lost glory.
Actor Aanjjan Srivastav who is best known for his role in TV serial, Wagle ki Duniya used to share a strong bond with Big B in the 90s but sadly his relations turned sour with Amitabh Bachchan after he (Amit ji) started hosting the quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.
During an interview, Aanjjan Srivastav stated that their bond became strong during the time of movie Shahenshah when he (Aanjjan) made Amitabh open an account in the bank in which he used to work.
Aanjjan added that he went to meet Amitabh Ji on the sets of Toofan as in those days, protests were taking place against him and many people including friends of Amitabh’s father started saying ill about him. Aanjjan stated that he asked Amit Ji, “Bhaisahab kaise hai?” (Brother, how are you?) and he said “Theek hun” (I am fine) and that’s all.
Aanjjan also revealed that Amitabh Bachchan faced financial problems because of the mistakes committed by his accountant and when they went to meet him, he said with folded hands that he would return their money soon after which Aanjjan told him, “We have not come for that. We have come because of your accountant’s mistake. You return the money when you can and we trust you that you will give and your intention is right. But in this kind of banking, don’t do transactions with other banks.”
Aanjjan said that Amitabh’s company ABCL incurred massive losses and he went bankrupt but he bounced back with KBC but after that, Aanjjan slowly lost touch with Big B. Aanjjan stated that earlier Jaya Bachchan used to invite him with family for Holi party but soon all stopped, though it had no effect on his career but it hurt him a little.
