Shashi Tharoor is a Thiruvananthapuram-based MP for Kerala’s third Lok Sabha term. In the UPA governed by the Congress, Tharoor also held the positions of Minister of State for External Affairs and Minister of State for Human Resource Development.
Before entering politics, Tharoor, who is renowned for his fluency in the English language, worked for the UN for over three decades.
