Abhishek Bachchan has broken his silence regarding the persistent rumors surrounding his marriage to actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, firmly addressing the ongoing speculation of a looming divorce.
In a recent interview, Abhishek candidly shared his perspective on the rumors, stating, “I go back home to a happy family.” He emphasized the role of the women in his life in shielding their home from external influences, adding, “One thing is for sure, first my mother (Jaya Bachchan) and now my wife (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), they don’t allow that outside world to come in there.” Bachchan, a veteran of the film industry, also revealed his seasoned approach to public scrutiny: “I have grown up in this film industry, so I also know what to take seriously and what not to take seriously. I don’t get affected by what’s happening on social media.”
The couple, who married in 2007 and are parents to their daughter Aaradhya, have faced a barrage of marital discord rumors for an extended period. These speculations gained traction after they were seen arriving separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding last year. Further fueling the gossip, Aishwarya’s photos from daughter Aaradhya’s birthday celebration notably excluded any Bachchan family members, including Abhishek.
