Dhoom is one of the most loved Hindi movie franchises and it has a loyal fan base which comprises mostly of those who love action films. Till now the makers have made three movies and all of them have performed well at the box-office, though the antagonists have changed in each part yet Abhishek Bachchan has been a part of all the three installments.
For quite some time now, we were hearing that producer Aditya Chopra is working on the fourth part of the series and the makers are in talks with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham for the fourth part. However later on, Yash Raj Films denied all these rumours and when Abhishek Bachchan was asked about Dhoom 4, he said, “Not that I know of. If Dhoom 4 was being made, Adi (Aditya Chopra) would have told us. I can’t confirm or deny it but I am pretty sure I would have been told if he is making one.”
Abhishek Bachchan answered this question during an event which was organised for the promotion of his next movie, Ghoomer which is set to release on 18 August 2023. The movie is directed by R Balki and it also stars Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi in important roles.
So for the time being, Dhoom 4 is not on the cards.
