Abhishek Bachchan, currently gracing screens in Housefull 5, has revealed his next cinematic venture, Kaalidhar Laapata, complete with a fresh poster and an official release date.
This upcoming film is set to premiere on an OTT platform on July 4. Further details about the project are still under wraps, but the announcement has already generated significant excitement among his fanbase.
Taking to his Instagram, Abhishek Bachchan shared the intriguing new poster, accompanied by a caption that reads, “चर्चाओं पर अब फुल स्टॉप! Sometimes, getting lost isn’t a detour, it’s where the real story begins. Full of dreams, twists, and the people who make it worth it. #KaalidharLaapata premieres 4th July, only on #ZEE5.”
The poster itself features Bachchan alongside a child, both seated on the branch of a tree, hinting at the film’s narrative. Interestingly, Kaalidhar Laapata is a Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Tamil film KD (also known as Karuppu Durai). Madhumita Sundararaman, who directed the original Tamil version, is also at the helm for this Hindi adaptation. Reports suggest that the film has been shot in Bhopal, aiming to capture an authentic rural atmosphere.
