Abhishek Malhan recently addressed his non-victory in Bigg Boss OTT 2 through a heartfelt video following his presence at the grand finale, where Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner.
During the grand finale episode of Bigg Boss OTT season 2, which aired on Monday night, host Salman Khan unveiled the triumphant contestant. The runner-up position was claimed by YouTuber Abhishek Malhan, also recognized as Fukra Insaan. In a newly surfaced online video, Abhishek shared that he had to return to the hospital after the finale, during which Elvish Yadav was declared the victor. He extended his congratulations to Elvish and candidly discussed the sense of letting down his supporters by not clinching the coveted Bigg Boss OTT 2 trophy.
Before the climactic episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Abhishek Malhan had been grappling with health issues, leading to his hospitalization. In a video recorded post-finale, Abhishek, wearing a hospital gown, expressed deep gratitude to everyone who voted for him. While acknowledging that he wasn’t able to secure the winner’s position, he was moved by the immense affection and love he received from his supporters. He humbly confessed that he didn’t believe he deserved this level of devotion and appreciation, particularly from his dedicated “Panda gang” of followers.
About his non-victory in Bigg Boss OTT 2, Abhishek went on to share that he had returned to the hospital right after his involvement in the grand finale. He apologized to members of the media who had intended to interview him about his experience on the show, explaining that he was under pressure to meet a deadline and had to be present on the Bigg Boss set. He assured his followers that once he is discharged from the hospital, he will openly express his thoughts and feelings about his journey on the show. He acknowledged the supporters who stood by him and admitted that he understood their disappointment, although he didn’t manage to win the trophy. He emphasized that he put forth his best effort throughout the two-month duration of his stay in the Bigg Boss house.
In the culmination of Bigg Boss OTT season 2, YouTuber Elvish Yadav emerged as the victor, securing the Bigg Boss OTT season 2 trophy along with a cash prize of ₹25 lakh. Other finalists included Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve, and Pooja Bhatt. Alongside the finalists, the show also featured participants like Akanksha Puri, Cyrus Broacha, Jad Hadid, Aaliya Siddiqui, Avinash Sachdev, Aashika Bhatia, Puneet Superstar, Falaq Naaz, Palak Purswani, and Jiya Shankar.
