Aditi Garg quit her CA dream to start a jewellery brand, Adwitiya Collection worth Rs 2 Cr in FY21

Aditi Garg began Adwitiya Collection in 2018 after quitting her CA journey. In a span of just two years, her brand name produced sales of more than Rs 2 crore and has developed 400 per cent this festive season.

Chartered Accountancy is a hard undertaking, with aspirants spending out many years to clear the exams. For Aditi Garg, founder of jewellery label Adwitiya Collection, her CA journey led her to discover achievements in entrepreneurship.

Noida- based Adwitiya, which begun in 2018, registered Rs 2.78 in profits in FY 20-21, expanding 400 per cent this festive time.

Aditi started being a reseller of jewellery in 2013. Developing a micro-level side organization is exactly what gave hert the self-esteem and financial independence to dream greater. She started off selling jewellery on the internet by way of Amazon and Flipkart. Her organization was offering her profit gains but she couldn’t give her 100% to your business as she was also focussing on clearing her CA finals.

Four decades passsed and the Rs 17,000 worth inventory that Aditi purchased from the wholesaler to start out the organization was also stuck with her. Neither was she able to focus on her CA nor did she have forward her business enterprise continuously.

In 2018, Aditi, bored with sailing on two boats, chose to give up her CA to scale the organization. She very first listed her jewellery beneath the brand title Adwitiya Collection.

This was time when Myntra was also aggressively onboarding new brands. Aditi grabbed this opportunity to force Adwitiya onto an e-commerce market.

Soon within three years timespan, Adwitiya now generates 90% of its income from Myntra where it will get all over 350-400 orders per day. Aditi claims that the business expects to shut FY 21-22 at Rs 5 crore in revenue. This festive period, Adwitiya Collection bought 9,000 orders and raked in Rs 75 lakh in product sales.

Over the starting few days of her entrepreneurial journey, Aditi faced a lot of issues. To start with, she experienced limited funds to get bulk inventory and second, wholesalers failed to keep up together with the desire for unique designs.
Aditi then partnered with producers to supply her jewellery.

Apart from the company front, Aditi also confronted own worries when her family wasn’t proud of her launching a man-made jewellery brand. Even so, her persistence paid off.
