The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli missed the first two test matches of the important India-England series and now it is being reported that he will miss not only the third and fourth test matches but he may miss the entire series.
The lack of clarity in regard to the reason behind Virat’s absence is making his fans a little worried as he is keeping a low profile on Instagram, his brother has already quashed the rumours that his mother is sick and now AB de Villiers has retracted from his previous statement that Virat and Anushka’s second child is on the way.
However, there is no lack of support to Virat from the cricket fraternity as recently the former Proteas pacer Dale Steyn came out in support of Virat Kohli and said, “Family is your most important priority. Sorry, that’s it. That’s the end of the story right there. I’ve got three dogs and when one of them got sick, I was out of the IPL. I was jumping on the plane out of there to come back and see my dog.
So that’s my family. If Virat Kohli has decided to sit back home because he wants to be with his wife, if he’s going to have his second child, I don’t see any problem with that. He’s been a servant of India for many years. He’s won a World Cup; he’s captained with success. I don’t know what more a man can do to prove himself in the cricketing world.”
Hopefully everything is fine with Virat and his family!
