Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has shattered many box-office records as the audiences have fallen in love with the acting of King Khan in the movie and other actors are also getting praised for their performances. The film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and others in important roles and is directed by Atlee.
The veteran actor Nana Patekar who is certainly one of the most talented actors of the industry was also full of praises for SRK while speaking in an interview. Nana Patekar’s The Vaccine War has got released today and it is based on the story of developing the Indian vaccine for COVID-19.
However, some time back, Nana Patekar also made headlines when he referred to masala movies of today as rubbish movies. While he didn’t take the name of any recent release, people were left thinking if he was talking about Gadar 2 or Jawan.
Nana Patekar told the interviewer that Shah Rukh Khan’s first movie, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman was with him but another got released first and he told him at that time that he is going to be very successful. Here is what Nana said about King Khan, “He’s a very fine artist. His first film, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, was with me. Another film got a release first, but his first was with me. You can ask him; I told him back then, during his first film, that he’d become a very big star one day.”
He further said, “Whenever he meets me, he’s very respectful, I have no issues with him. He’s my own, he’s junior to me, so why would I have a problem with him?”
