Few days back, a deepfake video of actress Rashmika Mandanna went viral online and many celebs including Amitabh Bachchan demanded a legal action against all those who are guilty of making and sharing that video. Rashmika also issued a statement in which she expressed her concerns regarding the security of women as technology can be very harmful, if used in a wrong manner.
Now a deepfake video of Kajol has emerged online in which it appears that the actress is changing clothes in front of the camera. The video was originally shot by an influencer Rosie Breen and she uploaded it on TikTok in June 2023 under the trend, Get Ready With Me (GRWM).
In the edited video, Kajol’s face has been pasted on the face of Rosie Breen and it has further increased concerns in regard to the safety of women.
As far as the investigation regarding Rashmika’s deepfake video is concerned, cops have arrested a 19 years old youngster from Bihar and they are questioning him in this matter. The police officials feel that the youngster had first uploaded the video on his social media handles and then he circulated the video.
This is really a big problem and culprits should be punished severely.
