According to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s office, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the World Cup final in the stadium in Ahmedabad that bears his name.
The India vs. Australia Cricket World Cup 2023 final will take place on November 19 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. The exciting day is planned with a number of festivities, such as a ten-minute air display by the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran aerobatic team before the game and a performance by composer Pritam in the middle of the innings.Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Deputy Prime Minister of Australia Richard Marles are also expected to attend the final match, according to the office of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.PLAN FOR THE FINALS CEREMONY:Following the coin toss, nine Indian Air Force aircraft will perform an air display under the direction of Wing Commander Sidesh Kartik, who is also the deputy team leader and flight commander. Above the Narendra Modi Stadium, the aircraft will do a vertical air show after taking off from the Ahmedabad airport.As the national anthem comes to an end, there will also be a fly-past. The Indian Cricket Board (ICC) declined a proposal to fly the plane with the tricolor trailed behind it.The BCCI will present awards to the captains of every team that has won the World Cup thus far during halftime. Among them will be Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kapil Dev, who captained the Indian squad to victories in 1981 and 1983, respectively.During the halftime, around 500 dancers and music composer Pritam will perform on specially designed floats. The Gujarat Chief Minister had a high-level meeting on Friday to do a thorough assessment of the plans for traffic control, cleanliness, and security ahead of the match in Ahmedabad.
